Trip to Colorado and New Mexico: October 2016

Originally, this trip was supposed to be to Utah to visit Timpanogos Cave National Monument and Golden Spike National Historic Site, and to ride the Lake Powell ferry from Halls Crossing to Bullfrog. However, while Timpanogos was open until Columbus Day last year, this year it was only open until Labor Day. Then when the Lake Powell ferry shut down indefinitely for repairs, I decided to go to Colorado instead.

When the day came to depart, though, I realized that we still hadn't worked out all the bugs with our new travel trailer, and I decided that a trip to Steamboat Springs and Golden was too ambitious this time around.

The last time I was here, I had a primitive digital camera which only held 35 pictures, and I was constantly reviewing the pictures I took in order to decide which ones to keep and which ones to discard to make room for others. Now I can take all the pictures I want, and sort through them afterwards.
